Bootcamp (Behavioral Modification)
This program is designed to help dogs with behavioral problems i.e., biting people, biting/fighting other dogs, extreme fear, anxiety or ingrained habits due to age. We also take dogs that don't have behavioral problems. We train them to be stable and listen to commands in multiple settings.
If your dog has dog-on-dog aggression it will not be socializing with dogs on the first week of boot camp. We must have your dog listening to us and understanding corrections, before we will place it with our personal dogs.
We do not train dogs for off-leash. We provide an exit sheet that helps you to transition your dog to off-leash. We will discuss if your dog is able to advance to off-leash during training.
All lessons must be taken while dog is in training at our facility.
Dogs must have perfect on-leash obedience, before you can expect to have good off-leash obedience. If you can walk your dog (three times in a row) in a busy area with distractions, without correcting/reminding your dog to have good behavior, then you are ready for off leash work.

Bootcamp Lesson Guideline
Four private lessons are included to help you understand what your dog has learned, as well as teach you how to reinforce the bootcamp.
Lesson 1: Show dog has changed
We walk the dog down the road with owner walking next to us, then gradually transfer dog to owner. Dog should have no pull on the leash and sit when you stop. We keep the e-collar controller to help.
(We recommend not taking lesson one until after the first 7 days)
Lesson 2: Show the dog can behave with them controlling the collar
We teach the owner how to use the e-collar while trained off-leash dogs share the road. We then send the owner to walk their dog.
Lesson 3: Show dog can behave with many different environmental distractions
We demonstrate heel position and field walk with off-leash dogs as distractions. We then send the owner to walk their dog.
Lesson 4: Owner’s need to feel comfortable
Repeat Lessons 1-3 and go over the Exit Sheet.
